This is intended as my place to store plant knowledge and photos. You are welcome to share.

In 2014, I signed up for a plantmanship course at my local college. There were many assignments, but The Big One was the plant portfolio.

The challenge was to collect basic information on 50 plants. Basic information like botanical name, flower colour, growing preferences etc, plus four photos off the internet.

I never did submit that assignment, but collected random data on over 200 plants, travelled around to take my own photos, and generally became rather obsessed.

Over time, I hope to convert an Excel spreadsheet and thousands of photos (all nicely tagged, of course) that are lying on an old laptop into a blog that will be a source of horticultural inspiration for me, and anyone else who may be interested.
